Turning on Location Services for Android Mobile Device


FanSwipr is required to determine the user’s location while using our platform, and only then can enable its users to wager in states where wagering is authorized.


To share your location data while using the FanSwipr Android Mobile App please:

1.
Turn on Location Services and Allow Location Sharing: Go to Settings > Scroll down to Location > ON
2.
Select App access to location
3.
Choose FanSwipr from your list of apps. Select “Allow only while using the app"


To share your location data while using the Android Default Browser please:

1.
Turn on Location Services and Allow Location Sharing: Go to Settings > Scroll down to Location > ON
2.
Open FanSwipr.com in the browser and click Allow the browser to use your device’s location.
3. If the pop-up did not appear or you clicked on the Block button by mistake, please follow these steps to reset Location Data permission: Click on the Menu icon > Settings > Scroll down to Privacy and Security > Delete browsing data
4.
Select Cookies and site Data & Location access data > Delete > Return to FanSwipr.com and refresh the web page.


To share your location data while using the Android Chrome/Firefox Browsers please:

‍Chrome Browser

1.
Turn on Location Services and Allow Location Sharing: Go to Settings > Scroll down to Location > ON
2.
Open FanSwipr.com in the Chrome browser and Allow the browser to use your device’s location.
3. If the pop-up did not appear or you clicked on the Block button by mistake, please follow these steps to reset Location Settings permission:
Click on the three dots Menu icon at the top bar > Settings > Site settings
4.
In the Blocked section, click on the FanSwipr link > Allow > Then return to FanSwipr.com.

Firefox Browser

1.
Turn on Location Services and Allow Location Sharing: Go to Settings > Scroll down to Location > ON
2.
Open FanSwipr.com in the Firefox browser and Allow the browser to use your device’s location.
3. If the pop-up did not appear or you clicked on the Don’t Allow button by mistake, please follow these steps to reset Location Data permission: Click on the three dots Menu icon at the top bar > Settings > Site permissions
4.
Select Location > Ask to allow > Return to FanSwipr.com and refresh the web page.


To Enable high accuracy please:

1.
Open Settings for your device.
2. Tap Connections.
3. Tap Location.
4. Tap Location Method.
5. Enable High Accuracy.
